job summary:
Are you an experienced histology professional ready to make an immediate impact with a top-tier global life sciences leader in Branchburg, NJ? We are seeking a Histology Technician III to execute routine histology workflows and maintain strict Good Documentation Practices (GDP) in support of Quality Control Product Release Testing.

responsibilities:

• Receive, catalog, and accession specimens while maintaining accurate sample labeling and digital records.
• Perform tissue preparation, including rehydration, grossing, fixation, processing, and paraffin/cryo-embedding.
• Maintain accurate specimen identification across containers, cassettes, slides, logbooks, and databases.
• Operate and maintain standard histology laboratory equipment and workstations.
• Ensure strict compliance with cGxP, GDP, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Perform systematic block/slide verifications and filing to support quality testing, R&D, and clinical studies.

qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with routine histology techniques (grossing, processing, fixation, embedding).
• Demonstrated proficiency in Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and cGxP compliance.
• Experience operating standard histology laboratory equipment and maintaining tracking databases.
• High attention to detail for sample verification and quality control release testing.
