Job Opportunity – Hospitalist Physician – Pennsylvania

Start Date: November 9, 2026

Location: Pennsylvania

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM day shifts; flexible scheduling with block coverage and individual shifts available; 7-14 shifts per month with PRN options

Highlights:

• Long-term contract opportunity through April 30, 2027
• Balanced clinical workload with 7-10 admissions and 4-6 rounding patients per shift (approximately 15 patients per day)
• Closed ICU model allows focused hospitalist responsibilities
• Cross-cover APP support starting at 5:00 PM to assist with floor coverage and admissions
• EPIC EMR system in a well-established 140-bed hospital
• Serve a predominantly elderly patient population in a close-knit, rural, family-oriented community

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine (preferred) or Family Medicine
• Active Pennsylvania medical license or IMLC Letter of Qualification required at time of submission
• Current DEA license
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Clean malpractice history (settlements over $500K or more than 3 settlements may disqualify candidates)
• Credentialing timeframe: 60 days
