Job Description:

Housekeeping Attendants are responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and comfortable guest rooms and public areas in accordance with La Quinta Inn Santa Cruz’s standards.

Primary Responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Clean and service assigned guest rooms, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, and vacuuming;
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, showers, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures;
• Dust and wipe surfaces such as windows, doors, walls, headboards, baseboards, and furniture;
• Replace linens, towels, and guest room amenities; restock supplies as needed;
• Remove trash and maintain cleanliness of guest rooms and public areas;
• Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or damaged/missing items to a supervisor;
• Turn in lost and found items in accordance with Company procedures;
• Maintain housekeeping carts and storage areas in a clean, organized, and fully stocked condition;
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and housekeeping procedures;
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas;
• Provide courteous and professional service when responding to guest requests; and
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• Maintain a professional and respectful attitude toward guests and coworkers;
• Follow all Company policies, safety rules, and housekeeping procedures;
• Be able to work scheduled shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed;
• Work efficiently while maintaining quality and attention to detail.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to perform job duties with or without reasonable accommodation, including:

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting;
• Lifting, pushing, or pulling items (such as linens or carts);
• Repetitive cleaning tasks.

Lift, push, or pull items weighing up to 25–30 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally , with or without assistance
