TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced RN – Oncology for travel assignments . This role focuses on providing specialized care to cancer patients , including administering chemotherapy, monitoring treatment progress, and offering emotional support . The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and skilled in oncology care .

Responsibilities

  • Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other cancer treatments .
  • Monitor patient responses to treatments and adjust care plans accordingly.
  • Educate patients and families on cancer treatments, side effects, and symptom management .
  • Collaborate with oncologists, radiologists, and multidisciplinary teams .
  • Perform central line care, blood transfusions, and pain management .
  • Maintain detailed patient records and follow oncology protocols .
  • Travel to various hospitals and cancer centers for temporary assignments .

Qualifications

  • Education: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license .
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in oncology nursing .
  • Certifications: BLS and OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) preferred.
  • Skills: Proficiency in chemotherapy administration, symptom management, and patient advocacy .
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long hours and assist patients .
  • Travel Readiness: Open to temporary travel assignments .
