About Recharged

Recharged is on a mission to accelerate electric vehicle (EV) adoption with the first end-to-end e-commerce marketplace designed specifically for used EV buyers and sellers. Recharged is committed to making electric vehicles more accessible and affordable to consumers, while also serving dealers, fleets, and other companies navigating the transition to electric vehicles.

The Role

You'll run parts supply across three reconditioning centers. That means keeping the right inventory on the shelf at each site, buying it well, and hunting down the parts that aren't there before they turn into a bottleneck.

This is a purchasing and supply chain role, not a retail parts counter. We don't sell parts to customers. Every part you buy goes into a vehicle we own, which means your performance shows up in reconditioning speed and cost per unit — not in parts department gross. If you're energized by cycle time and sourcing problems, this will feel like the job you've been doing anyway, with more authority and better data.

Key Responsibilities 

• 4+ years in automotive parts management, procurement, or supply chain with real purchasing authorit
• Inventory strategy. Min/max levels and reorder points at each center, tuned to site volume and vehicle mix. ABC classification. Physical inventory accuracy. Stocking that follows our acquisition strategy instead of trailing it.
• Sourcing and expediting. The hard part of the job. Non-stock, backordered, and discontinued parts against a clock — working OEM channels, aftermarket suppliers, and recycled/salvage networks, and knowing which one wins on any given part. EV parts channels are tighter than ICE, and the sourcing skill matters more because of it.
• Vendor and pricing programs. Building and negotiating wholesale accounts, pricing tiers, and terms. Consolidating three centers' buying power into programs that beat what any one site could get alone. Our tire program is your first big lever.
• Parts financial control. Costing parts correctly to repair orders, core tracking, returns, warranty credit recovery, and an obsolescence policy that actually gets applied.
• Cross-site logistics. Moving parts between centers, redistributing dead stock to where demand is, and consolidating freight.Tires, wheels, shop supplies, and consumables are all in your scope alongside hard parts.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in automotive parts management, procurement, or supply chain with real purchasing authority
• A track record of sourcing against deadlines, not just against price
• Working fluency across OEM, aftermarket, and recycled/salvage parts channels
• Solid habits around perpetual inventory, cycle counting, and parts systems
• The ability to run a function across locations that don't report to you, and to hold a priority call when three centers all want the same part
• Comfort operating without close supervision — you'll report directly to the CEO

Bonus Points

• Collision center parts management background (you already live in cycle-time triage; this is your world)
• Multi-site or regional parts responsibility
• Electric vehicle parts experience, especially with closed OEM channels
• Experience negotiating consolidated or national supplier programs
• Familiarity with Repair360 or similar reconditioning workflow software
