Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Packaging & Palletizing: Manually pack fresh or frozen baked goods into bags, boxes, or trays at established production rates; stack, label, and stretch-wrap pallets for shipping.
- Visual Quality Inspection: Inspect products on the line for proper size, shape, color, and defects. Immediately discard non-conforming product and notify the operator.
- Food Safety & Compliance: Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), HACCP guidelines, and allergen controls; wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Line Sanitation: Keep the packaging line, tables, and surrounding work areas clean, dry, and clear of debris throughout the shift and during line changeovers.
- Basic Line Operations: Assist with packaging machinery, including tray formers, baggers, sealers, and metal detectors; report any machinery malfunctions to maintenance.
